1) Dabo had a plan which is working beautifully

2) based on my eye test, this is the best team in CU history. I say that because our other great teams did not have the depth of this team.

I think we have to start understanding Dabo's plan is different than the rest of college football. He doesn't care about scores. A win is a win. He cares about preparing for the playoff.

So the first half of the season is about building depth and probably forcing some adversity by playing teams closer than we need to. Being conservative and NOT GETTING PEOPLE INJURED.

The second half is switching the season to execution because the rest of college football is killing just to win their first 6-7 games. So then we can dominate easier because we have built depth. Further, we have less injuries because we have saved our 1st team from the nicks that occur.

Dabo plans for the marathon, not the sprint.

The only problem with this plan, is that there is a degree of risk of slipping up on a loss in the first half of the season. But if you're going to lose, it's best to do it in your first few games then the end.

As is often mentioned, Dabo plays chess while others are playing checkers. I'll add, there are plenty playing Candy Land. Yea, I'm looking at you uscjr.
