Pitt at GT rescheduled because of COVID-19

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Pitt at Georgia Tech football game will be rescheduled for Saturday, December 12. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 14.

The rescheduling follows positive tests, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing within the Georgia Tech and Pitt football teams. The teams are adhering to the minimum outlined protocols within ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available on theACC.com (full report).

As was previously announced, the 2020 ACC Football scheduling model includes 11 games (10 conference plus one non-conference), played over at least 13 weeks with each team having two open dates.

No where to reschedule if Pitt or VT cancels on us. Both have games Dec.12 now.

That would only mean that we would have extra time
to prepare for ACCCG. We would finish 9-1 and if
we beat ND 10-1. CFP bound, but I doubt both will
cancel or either for that matter.
