I want Trevor to win 3 Mannings.

In his behalf, I would trade any Heisman he wins for a single Manning.

I’d say it’s a big deal regardless, I don’t hate the Heisman

but I think the process has become a joke. Too much laziness and relying on media hype.

Always been that way. Even more so in the old days

when the media actually got to see far fewer games. Heck, Paul Horung won in 1956 on a Notre Dame team that finished 2-8.

b/c it will be Clemson's first. Still, it's going to be hard for people to forget either:

1) That CJ didn't even get an invite.

and/or

2) Deshaun didn't win.

I don't know why the fans should take the Heisman more seriously than the voters do.

The debacles of the last few years have reminded voters that they need to be conscientious and responsible with their vote. But it will fade, and soon they will go back to making irresponsible, early-season choices just to get the "paperwork" off their desks.

Most had voted for Action Jackson before his team finished the season with an 0-4 streak. Their vote might not have changed because of that, but the fact that they did not, could not, even reconsider made the vote a travesty.

If the Heisman has any meaning at all, it cannot be won based on September and October performances alone.

That's why i keep pumping the Manning. It is limited to QBs, sure, but it is the only national award that also considers post-season play. Since Clemson is all about postseason play, i would like to see our QB win it.

always been a flawed award and just a popularity contest. I would respect it more if all the voting was in mid January.

That being said, Henry and Jackson were ARGUABLY the right choices for a regular season only award.

Sure it matters

It would be a nice reward to T Law, but doesn't matter nearly as much as getting to the playoffs.
