Lamecocks Pickens and Burch

If my memory serves me well, I seem to remember we really wanted both of these two players. For lamecock standards, each seems to be doing well averaging a robust 3 tackles per game---Pickens at 13 for the year and Burch at 15. I wonder if either has any regrets or intentions of transferring to a team that at least cares a little about winning football like Vanderbilt or East Carolina?

I don't think transferring is a real option for him.

Burch, on the other hand, will continue to wallow in mediocrity until after his Junior year assuming, of course, he can find an NFL team willing to take a flier on him.

What I find interesting is I still see some of their fans to this day hinting that Clemson had to be cheating in recruiting in the year we got Sammy Watkins because we were coming off of a 6-7 season. I guess if you use their own logic then they paid for both of these guys.

Need more time to see about Burch. It was clear to me he wouldn't be an impact player as a freshman.

Not fair for him to be compared to Myles Murphy (heh heh).
