Just Back From Disney

Probably insignificant and trivial but thought I’d share a quick observation. Besides being hot and overpriced, the Tiger Paw was the most numerous college logo I saw at Disney. Interesting and surprising LSU was a close second. Did not see one Alabama hat or shirt. Didn’t see a single coot supporter until I was leaving Epcot last night and saw a fat guy wearing a coot T-shirt that said “Gamecock for Life”. I was embarrassed for him.

Did the same a few weeks ago. Received several 'Go Tigers'. On two separate occasions a couple of FSU fans struck up a conversation. They were actually very respectful and said that they really enjoyed visiting Death Valley even though their team lost. One of them opened up the conversation with "Y'all gonna let anyone else win some championships?". The coolest thing was when boarding the flight back home. One of the pilots was meandering in while we were boarding and started chatting about how good of guy Dabo seems to be.

I was vacating in the Caribbean about a month ago and went into town wearing an Esso hat with just a small tiger paw on the side. Many of the shop keepers, who don’t even follow college football knew it stood for Clemson and would make comments.

Idk I’m kinda at the point where I have to somewhat respect a guy that wears a “gamecock for life” shirt. I mean how many people do u see anymore admittedly being a gamecock fan??? It’s somewhat respectable lol
