If our player who tested positive...

Nov 21, 2020, 12:11 PM

Was showing symptoms during the week (according to Clemson), why was he not put into isolation, regardless of whether he tested negative or not? I thought the routine was if you ever exhibit symptoms, do not go to work, school, practice, etc. Isolate immediately. Why is this not part of the protocol?

even though he tested negative he should have still been isolated

There are other health issues out there.....colds, allergies, etc. They were not displaced by Covid-19.

Yes, that’s true but if it turns out its COVID, you have potentially infected others. And risked having a game cancelled. Why take the chance?

Many places of work let you come back after negative tests.... especially if there are multiple negative tests.

The front page article states the player in question showed symptoms in practice this week but had prior negative tests. It then states Clemson had gone through all proper protocol.

So you could also presume he was symptom free, they did isolate him, and he was COVID negative and approved to travel.
