I just don't think with the recent DK departure, even if there was a suitable replacement, we would look to the portal.

I mean, Booth, Davis, Greene...we aren't short on talent. These boys just need some seasoning IMO.

All three have more innate CB ability than WR DK. Wish DK the best. Move on, grow up and make it to the league. But Clemson is not losing a talent that can’t be replaced with the position and team improved.

For those of you wanting Dabo to use the transfer portal. When I look at the teams taking transfers guess who is missing from the list. Alabama and Georgia the top two teams in the SEC. Clemson does not need to be accepting other schools rejects. The reason these players are going to the transfer portal is they cannot start or have lost their starting position for the team they were with. Clemson does not need to more players for the practice squad.

Agree and disagree. We don’t want the head cases kicked off Bama for discipline issues. But the good kids we recruited early who are backing up Smith, Najee or OL all-Americans who can’t get a shot deserve a look. Bama is much deeper than Clemson. Hi Tigers!

Take a look at OSU.

If we lose a player to the portal it makes sense to replace him if a suitable replacement is available.
