How many more weeks or months will Trump drag this out?

Nov 10, 2020, 3:25 PM

I don't see this ending before the new year. Trump is like bamboo to the Republican Party. Once you let it into your yard, you can't get rid of it.

What say you?

I tend to think the legal challenges will be exhausted over

Nov 10, 2020, 3:38 PM

the next week or so. He won't be happy, and he'll complain on Twitter, but the rest of government will move on.

I’d love for you to be right. But you haven’t been paying

attention if you think that’s how this will go down.

Pompeos statement yesterday should give us a clue on how this is going to go down. Trump is going to exhaust every legal option before coming up with a few not so legal ones.

What's scary is if he gets the Electoral College

Nov 11, 2020, 8:20 AM

to forgo giving their votes to the candidate that woon their state (or in NE/ME, county), thus giving him an election win without winning the popular vote or the actual Electoral College. I know the Supreme Court ruled on the EC not too long ago about how they must vote, but I don't remember how that actually ended.

Please forgive me, @IneligibleUser

Agreed, it is

But with the iron grip DJT has on the Republican party it worries me. The same way it worried me that Obama would do the same. Irrational I know, but it's still a worry.

The worst thing that can happen is that Republicans in Congress block the official count of electors and dispute the outcome of certain states. Then it turns into a royal cluserfuck.

Let's hope this does not happen and Kevin Youngblood himself hogties the man kicking and screaming and tosses him onto Marine One in front of live cameras.

I can see it turning into one of those Julian Assange thingys where he has to be carried out, his comb over all disheveled, and his fat, orange belly hanging out of his untucked shirt.

Just throw the fade to Youngblood in the endzone & watch UVA weep their way back to Charlottesville.

I think he can go, oh , 37 days or so. We looked at dangling chads for that long in 2000.

Anyway, which ever way it goes, it will all work out.
