We didn't open the season with a win last year. We lost to Virginia Tech.

Certainly not in the modern era. Clemson finished last year with a win over Miami and the next game with FSU
Was cancelled because of Covid

I can’t remember the Tigers ever winning their last game of a season and I’ve been following Tiger basketball for sixty plus years.

The LAST game that Clemson played last season was in the ACC tournament and they WON. (I was there)

The first game this year was tonight. And they WON. ( I just watched it)

Hence the situation that I referred to. They began THIS season with a win to extend a winning streak.

I doubt that has ever happened in modern times since tournament seasons began.

A good question for Mr Bourret
