Clemson Tiger Football on American Idol tonight!

OK guys, thought this may be of interest to some of you. I was contacted on Friday by someone from American Idol (yes they were real) asking if it were OK to use one of my YouTube videos on the show this week (tonight). Of course I didn't believe it at first but I researched the person, etc. and found out it was legit. I called her back and she said they are doing a special on Queen on the show and wanted to show how their music effects people everywhere, including football stadiums. She said she found my video of Clemson vs. Florida State 2009 and wanted to use it. She had me sign a release form and fax it back. When I called her back she asked me which person I was, because she emailed a lot of people about their similar videos. When I told her, she sounded excited. I'm not exactly sure why she chose mine because it definitely isn't the best quality out there. Perhaps because it showed more of the crowd, I don't know.
So, hopefully they put it on there tonight. If not, well at least the Hollywood crowd took notice to our special place in the Valley. I will be watching tonight to see if it is on there or if another Clemson video is.

Oh I know. I haven't watched that show in several years but I guess I might turn it on tonight. The last time I watched it was with my ex-wife in 2005/2006 ---ahhh such terrible memories haha.

That is a great one. I've watched it a dozen times or more. I love how the player acknowledges them. It also makes me sick at the same time wishing I had as good of spot (on the field) as these guys have!

Agreed. I would almost trade in an ACC Championship for 3 night games a year...

Yeah I watched and after it wasn't shown at the very beginning I kinda figured there weren't going to. I'm sure whoever I spoke with was probably one of many people gathering what they thought were great ideas for the show to only be shot down by the top decision makers. Who knows though, I guess it is possible it could show up tomorrow night like someone else mentioned.
