Clemson Running Backs

Dec 3, 2020, 10:15 PM

Just thinking about our running backs…I looked over the "All time football recruit" list at 247sports…(it is listed as "since 2000"). This is the list of all running backs on that list!

5 Stars
CJ Spiller 2006, 5-10/185, 0.9928
D Bowman 2020, 5-9/191, 0.9909
Will Shipley 2021, 5-11/198, 0.9851

4 stars
T Feaster 2016, 5-11/196, 0.9816
M Bellamy 2011, 5-10/180, 0.9785
Jamie Harper 2008, 6.0/235, 0.9784
Keith (Yusef) Kelly 2000, 6.0/205, 0.9715

3 Stars
Jae'lon Oglesby 2014, 6-0/175, 0.8895
Kobe Pace 2020, 5-10/205, 0.8824

Notice that the one that we now regard as the best ever, was 12th on this list! Also, notice that Mafah was rated higher than ETN! I know that some of you will still say that Spiller was the best ever, and you may be right…but as far as the stats say, it is ETN!
Also, notice how many on this list that did not pan out!

Yes, I missed him because he was an OLB!!!!

Thanks for the head's up! A good indication of our coaches...turned him into an NFL running back!

Also, notice how Shipley shapes up with the others in size...
