should go back and watch the last two minutes of regulation. Truly bizarre and worth the watch.

Both of those games are perfect examples of why you never take your foot off the gas. Both teams that lost had the game wrapped up but chose to go extremely conservative instead of hammering the nail. Both teams lost.

situational football, just as hard, with just as much attention to detail, as any other portion of the game.
All the Liberty players had to do was immediately take a knee, until the down got to where they were ready to kick their field goal, IF they were going to milk all the clock before scoring. They guy should never have been upright long enough for anyone to try and push him into the end zone, or have a defender rip the ball away. Liberty should have won that game in regulation, no OT necessary.
All Las Vegas had to do was run a "prevent" pass defensive scheme for a measly couple of plays. The Fins did not have time to get near field goal range hitting short passes, even if their guys ran out of bounds. An absolute bust that a receiver was allowed to roam free down the sidelines with no one within 10 yards of him. That gaffe is even more inexcusable knowing that the Raiders had themselves just won a game due to that kind of defensive lapse on the part of the NY Jets. Pros are being paid literally millions of dollars to make that play, and yet they blew it, spectacularly so.

That happened to Clemson multiple times when TB was coaching, and I’ve seen it happen many times through the years. The “prevent” defense often times prevents the team who had the lead from finishing the task. Momentum shifts to the team who is coming from behind, and the next thing you know, the team that had the lead ends up in the loser’s column. You don’t see that happen to AL much. They rarely let up. Killer instinct is necessary these days, especially with the rankings system now in place.

You must be referring to the pro game that I didn't watch.
At no point did Coastal "have the game wrapped up." They did great to rally from 13 down to tie the game, but Liberty is the team that failed to sit down successfully.
Yet they won by Kicker in OT.

Bizarre, dumb, sad and a bucket load of other adjectives and emotions. As much as the CCU comeback was great, their play calling was that bad.
