I sent off for an absentee ballot yesterday.

Decided I didn't have time to wait hours in a line on Election Day.

It's exciting in that it seems people are really engaged. On the other hand, it's kind of a downer for me again because I feel like I'm on the sidelines, in that I'm not voting for the President or the Vice President. I'd like to regain the feeling of proudly voting for someone, and seeing them win office.
