...and quite frankly don't find any of it (including the Potter incident) newsworthy.

I never give it much thought other than "Dabo's coaching".

If I were the Editor-In-Chief at a news organization you hear crickets and see another story.

These types of headlines are strictly for the Drama Queens. ...and our society is full of 'em.

Later in the game he came out to punt again and they announcers said something like "Think it'll be a fake here?" then "I bet he'll never fake another punt again in his career."

Then we had that fake punt pass to CW42 vs Oklahoma in the next game.

I've often wondered if that was rope-a-dope on Dabo's part.

right in front of me, 7 rows behind the Oklahoma bench.

One of the best moments EVER at a Tigers game.

No affect on the Potter/Dabo/Sawicki situation, though.

Isn't Sawicki starting for FGs and extra points against the Cards?

No effect, but it does highlight that just because Dabo screams at someone doesn't mean he trusts him less or thinks he can't do his job. Let Teasdale make that pass is evidence of that. I assume that if we need a 50-yard FG to win a game, Dabo has no problem running Potter out there. He's just hoping that Potter will be more attentive to the situation and know he might be needed!
