ACC is horrible

Hopefully all of these new coaches will help elevate the league. I'm not a fan of the conference, but I also don't want people talking trash saying that Clemson doesn't play against anybody.

ACC teams are playing some pretty good teams in big bowls.

Houston and Baylor are pretty darn good teams. And FSU is playing with a one legged QB. Unfortunately, they are not playing COOTS.

ACC teams have been out-coached during bowl season. ACC has plenty of talent, but for whatever reason teams like UNC, FSU, etc....have been out-schemed.
Larry Fedora needs to revamp his entire bowl preparation....they looked terrible. Honestly, other than Louisville I haven't see an ACC team that "looked like they wanted to be there".

WE ARE CLEMSON! To #### with the acc. Games are won and lost on the field between the 2 teams playing. Clemson gets everybody's best shot. Go TIGERS!

The thing is, I like it more now when people say "Clemson hasn't played anybody" than I ever have.
I look forward to hearing people say it. Just because I then know who doesn't understand football from there on out.

all the "pro-ACC" fans need to get a better grasp of

the fact that Clemson has absolutely no control over what any other school does with their football program.....not budgetary support, not fan support, not stadium size, nor any other aspect of another university's football program. If Duke wants to keep that antiquated stadium and rarely fill it, if they want to keep football secondary to basketball---even though Cutcliffe has turned the Blue Devil program into a competitive one, there's nothing we can do about it----and the same goes with every other school
As Clemson fans, all we can do is continue to support our Tigers, schedule good OOC opponents, and beat everyone we can
The next time some stupid chickenfan makes an uncomplimentary remark about ACC football, wave your finger in their face and tell 'em they need to speak with the fan base of another school and then mention the Tiger's historical domination of chickenville---or you can mention the outcome of the last couple of games

What you say is true, but don't think the ACC being weak

won't eventually bite us it the butt. It is to our benefit for the rest of the league to be competitive.

We have zero control on what other teams do, how they play, how they recruit. For some idiot to continue to beat the drum "ACC is horrible" is dumb, just plain dumb. Closet coot? Who knows.

Let them be bad. Bowl games aren't a great indicator of conference strength. Hard to judge how teams will react with in most cases over a month to get ready for a game. North Carolina looked awful, but did anyone expect Baylor to basically run the veer out of the shotgun the entire game? If you haven't prepared for the option you're going to have a hell of a time stopping it on the spot.
