SPARTANBURG, S.C. —A man has been arrested for putting a hidden camera in a tanning room of Gold's Gym in Spartanburg, according to Spartanburg police.
On Sept. 14 police said a woman came to City Hall and said she found a camera that looked like an ink pen as she was undressing in the tanning bed room at Gold's Gym.
Police said the ink pen contained video footage on a memory card.
On Thursday, investigators from the Spartanburg Police Department arrested Stephen Meng and charged him with voyeurism.
The Spartanburg Police Department believe there may be additional victims.
Police are asking individuals to contact them if they have information about these incidents, or if they had contact with Stephen Meng while using the tanning bed at the W.O. Ezell Blvd., Gold’s Gym.
