Obviously the poor play yesterday at Chapel Hill will result in Tigers no longer ranked #1... not certain how far they will fall...the polling meisters have been looking for a way to change Clemson's ranking...a win by 1 point not enough to justify the top position...

Clemson may drop now, but they’ve been looking for a way to drop Clemson? The same people that voted Clemson #1 in the first place? Nobody held a gun to their heads and made them vote Clemson at the top spot. If they wanted a reason then they could’ve moved an SEC team there after one of their OOC wins over ranked opponents.

Why do so many of you live in a world where you so badly want to believe that everyone hates Clemson?

Exactly. However, I'm not totally convinced the Tigers won't be #1 later today. Coaches voting in the coaches poll understand how an underdog can play lights out on any given day and who knows how it shakes out in the AP poll. Either way there will be 4 or 5 other teams splitting 1st place votes. The Tigers had a huge lead so they can lose votes and still hang on to #1.

Either way, the Tigers are still undefeated.

Maybe in a shocking turn of events we aren’t ranked #1 bc we aren’t the best team right now. We are probably somewhere around 5 to 6.

Good news is this is a familiar ###### for Clemson. Flounder in September and build for championship run in November. We do it every year. Best to be ranked 1 in January like we always are.

It does matter; new poll
#1) Bama
#2) LSU
#3) Georgia
#4) Auburn.
Everything is right with the world
eSECpn projects Bama, and Georgia for the Title with Nick getting #7 then having no other worlds to conquer goes off to the Pros where he changes places with Bill Belicheck who goes on to win a couple of National Championships at Bama.
And so the world turns.
