tight ends

Sep 1, 2014, 3:40 PM

All I have heard was Stoudt loves to throw to Legget. Georgia's blitzing should have left the tight end wide open!
Why wasn't he used?

I agree we have some really talented tight ends and especially leggett who is a very big mid match with a db and no way a lb can cover and has always been an important position in the CM offense and they were non existent. Not sure what happened there but I think they have game film with a lot of new players to go off of and I fully expect this offense to get it going before fsu

Morris said on several occasions that the tight end was open across the middle but that Leggett got lazy on his routes and by the time he got to his spot, there was no longer an opening.

He said later in the game, the middle of the field simply wasn't open because Georgia was able to rush four and drop the rest back into coverage, so they had coverage underneath and over the top.
