Parents of a girl I grew up with has one that they used once or twice and decided they're not into it, so she offered it to me. Any wreck or mendations for what to make would be appreciated. I'm considering starting with short ribs.

different brand from Instant Pot but it works great for (and we primarily use it for) cooking dried beans and whole grains as well as root vegetables.
