Kid's toilet keeps leaking from under the toilet. This will be the 3rd time I've changed the wax seal in the past year. Still leaking.
Checked the bolts. Checked the flange. Checked the milk in the freezer.
What could it be jounge?

You should have dug a deeper hole. Call it quits on that one and dig a new outhouse.

Have you checked you joists?

Seems plausible that those for good and rotted, thus the toilet is dipping down and causing an issue.

Cheapass toilet, or wax seal.

Have you tried one of those fool-proof seals from Lowes? You just mount the seal on the bottom of the toilet aligned with the bolts and set it straight down. Lines up perfectly every time and has werked for me.

Every toilet in our house has leaked since we purchased it. I've replaced every one of them too because the toilet sucks. But a straight wax ring is a major PITA to set right. Try one of the idiot-proof ones. If that still leaks, I'd check the toilet itself, or the pipe.

are you 100% sure the flange is not cracked. I had the same issue and it was the flange. is the toilet seated solid. no rocking side to side. id shop vac and clean the heck out of the flange and check it again. id also check the toilet depending on the age. good luck. i paid a plumber and the new flange parts and labor was $650.

A state trooper and your wife moving back and forth atop the toilet in a violent fashion will cause wax ring issues.

Here's your fix.
Nov 5, 2020, 12:50 PM

Remove the toilet, wax ring, flange, etc. Throw it all in the trash.
Remove the lattice and crawl under your house, stack some cinder blocks under the terlet.
Put a scissor jack between the cinder blocks and a scrap of 2x8 and tighten it so that it supports the floor.
Coat entire bathroom floor with thompsons water sealer, like you did on your porch.
Lag bolt the toilet straight through the floor, into the 2x8.
Done and done.
