Another Liberal "Journalist"

Got to this article from yahoo finance. It is about $15/hr minimum wage.
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/what-minimum-wage-increases-did-to-mcdonalds-restaurants-and-their-employees-11611862080?siteid=yhoof2
This is a random rant, but the higher level point is the dumbing down of society...
This is another liberal "journalist" writing BS conclusions that fit her narrative. I feel sorry for the girl. Second paragraph the conclusion is "Some lawmakers and business owners who are against the idea say it would create harmful effect, But those effects didn’t materialize..."
The article goes on to describe a study that showed a 10% increase in minimum wage leads to a 1.4% increase in Big Mac costs. Why is she referring to a 10% increase in wage when $15 doubles the current min wage (100% increase) and is a 50% increase over the average McD arches pay of about $10/hr. If we assume a 50% wage increase, does the big mac go up 7% (linear relationship)? Confusing.
She does not ponder why a huge increase in labor cost translates only to a small increase in the price of a big mac? Are labor costs a small % of total costs to get a big mac out the door? Are big macs the biggest seller or the smallest seller and thus owners didn't increase the big mac as much as other items?
And, what about profits? If McD has their labor cost increase by 50%, where is that cost going to hit the bottom line? In profit? Does this girl have any idea what bottom line means? Did the stock price suffer? Did profits suffer? None of this is discussed.
Are franchises going to convert to automated order kiosks and reduce the number of hourly employees by attrition? That can happen very quickly due to turnover and is a likely way the study authors manipulated data by saying "no one was laid off" which is true, but no one had to be laid off because of the high turnover. You just re-hire fewer people...
This same type of thing is all over the place, and since the sheep just take it for what it says and repeat it in the echo chamber, they all agree to this thing. If it is thought about critically this article and conclusion is full of holes.
This is a perfect example of a liberal following the science! Find a scientific study, which itself could be biased and she'd never know, summarize it haphazardly with misleading conclusions, throw in a few other Google facts and voila...a following the science article for the libs.

Why, precisely, are you attacking her?

She conducted interviews and research and reported her findings. She didn't interject her opinion.
A quick search shows she has a degree from George Washington in economics and marketing (which means there's a good chance she knows more about this than you). She also does work for the WSJ--you know, that liberal rag.
MarketWatch isn't politically biased. You made an assumption about this woman with no evidence to support it, and you attacked her for simply doing her job.
This is the problem with a lot of these made-up bias claims; the reader really just has a poor understanding of media literacy and how the news industry works.
Instead of attacking her, maybe instead simply take issues with the facts and attempt to refute them. Your entire post is pointless and worth nothing if your first goal is to attack her.
