Just in time for your next Stimulus Check, another Amazon

Dec 17, 2020, 3:44 PM

phone scam making the rounds. Got two separate phone number calls today, quoting two completely different customer service numbers (neither of which, I am sure without checking, has anything to do with Amazon) saying there was suspicious activity on my Amazon account card. If I really had made a $349.99 purchase, I could safely ignore the call, otherwise, I should call their bogus customer service number.

Those numbers probably trace directly back to some offshore 900 number where Francis Marion is waiting by the phone to spout some naughtiness just before Christmas. Be forewarned.

(The scam Isreal. That last part I made up because it sounds plausible.)

Me too! I started telling them about how my day was going. That was fun.

As soon as I get a live person, I tell them that they have won

an all-expense trip to Cambodia and that they need to press '1' now or press '2' to promise to never call again.

The purple triangle is there for a reason.

Use it.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Spelling is Key. Is Real.
