covid question

Dec 11, 2020, 12:58 PM

For those of you who have had covid and knew you were exposed to some someone with it, how long did it take for you to develop symptoms?

My wife had a pretty mild case of it. We aren't positive where she got it from, but she developed symptoms on a Tuesday. There was a friend we had seen on the Saturday before that who also ended up getting Covid.

We aren't sure if my wife caught it from the friend, or if the friend caught it from my wife as neither had symptoms at the time they were around each other. I think the friend actually had symptoms a day or two after my wife did so it could be more likely that she caught it from my wife which leaves us clueless as to where my wife caught it from.

My daughter and son-n-law were exposed at a weekend event with friends. The woman they think was a first to get Covid (a doctor) had symptoms on Sunday, was tested and positive results on Tuesday. They were notified and by Wednesday morning my son-n-law temp was shooting up and hit 104.3, with my daughter losing taste and smell slightly. So about 4 days was the time frame of exposure to symptoms.
