Nov 2, 2012, 2:48 PM

Anyone know of a decent cordless phone for the house. They all look great in the box but work like crap when you get them home. Thx.

Nov 2, 2012, 2:59 PM

do they even make the other kind?

tools. Plan to replace them after a couple years.

We got a 3-set of Uniden phones last year and they work fine, battery ok and good range.

We have Panasonic

Haven't had problems. Came with 5 handsets, 4 of which just plug into 110v no phone line needed. The base set ties into the landline.

They are a thing that nagging wives make you get.

Nov 2, 2012, 3:05 PM

I've seen it with me own eyes. They are only acceptable in a place where cell reception is spotty.

badge-donor-05yr.jpgringofhonor-aero.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

spotty cell service is called PEACE AND QUIET

Nov 2, 2012, 3:10 PM

why ruin that with a dang house phone?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well, some people tend to want to be able to

Nov 2, 2012, 3:12 PM

get some help in an emergency situation. This is why it would be allowed. It isn't really encouraged.
