Anyone caught the remix of the Godfather Part 3?

Saw a buddies review and it intrigued me. He says the re-cut film makes part three a true failed redemption movie. Part two was Michael's unforgivable sin of murdering his own brother and part 3 has been remade to actually tell the story of Michael trying to cure that sin and failing similarly to Cain and Abel.

showed that in Michael's desire to take the family legit he ended up being exactly what his dad was. Similar stories, a nuanced difference, maybe.
