5 ft 9 isn't too short for a cb. Darrel Green was 5ft 9 and is one of the best cb's to ever play the game and is in the HOF, Dre Bly was about the height. Depends how fast he is and what skills he has. There is a CB on the Buffalo Bills right now who is 5 ft 8. He was AFC defensive player of the week before.

You would pass on awesome db that was 5ft 9 just because you don't like that height? There are great short db's. I am not saying he is an awesome db. I don't know anything about him really. Lamarcus Joyner for the Rams is 5f 8 and is an absolute stud. He is a free safety now, but also plays CB for the Rams. Remember him from FSU too? He was the USA Today player of the year out of HS and a 5 star recruit. Rams took him in the 2nd round. He is so awesome the Rams put the franchise tag on him this year. He is a 5 ft 8. He is a 2nd team All Pro. You would have passed on him.

We're looking at him as a RB, per a pay site interview from a few weeks ago.
