and is talking about a national distribution of the vaccine which was very much barebones when they took over as Trump mostly left it up to the States to distribute. There was very little coordination or funding given from the Federal level. That's a difference in strategic opinion and gives context to her statement.
If she was saying Trump did nothing (including warp speed) she would have said "in every way" or something to that effect. You have to read what she said in an uncharitable and partisan way in order to take issue with it which isn't surprising coming from Kudlow or trumpets on this board.

However, I would argue that “in many ways we’re starting from scratch on something that has been raging for over a year” is a highly charged and accusatory statement, and would require justification. Perhaps “in some ways”? I mean, is Biden creating a federal distribution program? What component would they argue is starting “from scratch”?

but credit where credit is due. That was a good review of the facts (although my only exposure to this was this thread, so I was not aware of a Fauci comment component). I feel their final comment aligns with my perspective (“ Harris modified her comment by saying “in many ways,” but that’s not quite enough to avoid Pinocchios. She earns Two.”), but also acknowledge the nuance of the discussion.
