Texas A&M barely beat a UNC team that was crippled by opt-outs.
I'm not sure a result from 3 months ago overrides recent results.
The Aggies are lucky to be ranked ahead of a Notre Dame team who everyone was laughing at 2 weeks ago and now seems like maybe they weren't so bad holding Bama to 31 points.
ND should be ranked ahead of TAM. ND was a better team

period. They had 2 common opponents and performed better against both and I'm not just talking scoreboard either- if you actually watched all 4 games. The fact a depleted UNC team was tied with them with about 5 min to go in a game TAM had circled and was PO'd about for not making the playoffs says it all. Their recruiting is starting to pick up but this version of their team wasn't really a top 10 team..... I think UGA was even better than them in the SEC. I like TAM's fanbase but can't stand Jimbo and think that hire after some decent success will come back t bite them.....
