If you mean matchup in the one-on-one athlete vs athlete sense, then I believe you could be correct because the only other team with similar talent to us and Miami is Notre Dame.
I give the slight edge to Notre Dame in overall talent between the two but Miami will present some tough individual matchups for our players.
If you mean Miami will be the best team/toughest win this season, then I am not quite convinced of that yet.

So in other words, they'll finally figure out where the end zone is?

On the one hand, Miami always gets the pre season/early season love then they lose a game or two and the finger pointing starts/they lose interest in the season/bad losses follow - rinse and repeat.
On the other hand, they do appear to be a different team this year. King, with his running and scrambling ability, hides the weakness of their OL and takes away their sacks for big losses.
I question whether King will be able to make it through the season with all his running between the hashes. He's somewhat short and stocky but how many hits over the middle can his body take?

Maybe so, but I don't think the game will be all that close.
I've posted enough on him that my position on D'Eriq King is pretty clear. However, unless our secondary is totally abused, Miami won't be able to keep up with us. Our offense should do just fine and King won't see a D-line and front 7 anywhere close to ours.

Disagree .Virginia will be our toughest matchup because if Dabo follows your lead he will be looking ahead and forgetting our next game is Virginia. Thank goodness Dabo isn't following your lead. Mark that down!

I still think Miami has a long way to go to qualify as legit. I like the QB and they have some playmakers, but the trenches are suspect on both sides of the ball.

I hope you're wrong. I saw Miami give up a ton of points to Louisville. I saw Louisville gift wrap two TD's to Miami where the LBs and safeties took themselves out of the play.
I'm hoping (begging, pleading, praying) that Miami is over-rated - at least for this week. ??
