Would change your mind about impeachment ?

Feb 11, 2021, 11:56 AM

I am not absolutely sure about this yet but Senator Turbeville's recollection seems to establish this timeline:

2:15 VP Pence is escorted from the Senate chambers for his safety.

2:18 Senator Turbeville informs President Trump that his VP has just been escorted from the chamber and that he (Turbeville) has to go, too.

2:24 President Trump, knowing his VP and the Senators were in such danger as to be evacuated from the Senate chambers, tweeted, "“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution"

So not only did Trump NOT try to calm the insurrectionists down, he tried to stir them up - against his own VP - after he knew to seriousness of the danger to the VP and the members of the Senate.

This seems to indicate that he was supportive of the insurrectionist's aims - even if that meant his VP would be at risk.

There. Fixed it for you.

And no. I won't change my mind. This impeachment is a farce. But at least its keeping Sniffy Joe's commie handlers at bay for a while.

This tweet was further evidence.

After all of the violence of the day, this is how Trump felt about what had happened that day.

because you listened to me.

Nothing presented in this hearing will change any minds.

Feb 11, 2021, 12:10 PM

Everyone (including Senators) had their mind made up before this started. Mostly because partisanship.

You may be right, but this is getting pretty personal now. Trump did not care if he put Rep senators lives at risk. THAT might get them to change their minds.

Republican Senators don't have the courage to convict.

Feb 11, 2021, 1:00 PM

However, the court of public opinion will convict him and those Senators who enabled and coddled him. The political costs to the GQP will be great.

Additional information will come out in the coming months that will only further incriminate Trump and other Repubilicans.

Of course it won't. Trump didn't say hang Pence

Feb 11, 2021, 1:02 PM

so he's completely innocent and had absolutely nothing to do with anything.

OMG - you are hopeless.

I can create a similar timeline about you that, using your logic, will "prove" your role in some crime that happened near you...

This is a revealing post - revealing in the depth of your mental capacity.
