After seeing ESPN's All American list, Clemson should stop cooperating with ESPN.

I agree. Maria Taylor should not be allowed to interview anyone associated with Clemson. Remember she tried to start some race stuff a few years ago when it didn't exist.

With all the other good looking and more competent female

commentators about, she is obviously a result of Affirmative Action. No other way she would be on ESPN's "Number One" announce team. So, how cosmically ironic that she was the one who tried to play the race card when TL took KB's starting QB job. The widsom of that move was self evident, even before it was made. Just like DW4 winning it from Cole Stoudt, it wasn't a question of "if" just a question of "when". But, she had to try and make a name for herself by trying to create something that was never there. I could never see her at a Clemson game again, it would be too soon.
Other than that, I don't really have an opinion on her.

She was crushing on Kelly, I think that was what got her caught up in a situation she should never be involved in as a journalist.

Looks aside Holly Rowe is far superior to most of the newbie camera queens. She actually prepares and gives you some information.

sheesh.
I actually couldn't even come up with who our one All-american would be. I just looked at the list to see who it was, and i honestly think they made up a spot just so they could put Etienne in there somewhere. We could've easily had no players on that list.

Agreed. I love tL16 and believe he is the best but statistically you have to put Jones, Trask, and the BYU kid above him. Najee has like 27 TDs while Etienne has 14. I think Amari has had a great year and could have come close being a WR but I'm sure others have way better stats. Nobody on our OL should be in. Who on our D has put up all american numbers??

Dabo said it right, ALL the Awards are about STATS now.
Clearly ESPN has been using stats as the basis because they can so easily be manipulated.

You realize awards like this have been and should be about stats to a certain extent. It's hard to argue against Kyle Trask or Mac Jones this year. Of course some of it has to do with the back and forth games they have played and with TL missing those 2 games. All are great QBs and I would take TL over those guys for sure but they have had great years both with the eye test and statistically.

wanting to judge teams based on their record, but not judge players based on their stats. If you want to say that Trevor Lawrence is better than Mac Jones and Kyle Trask despite the stats, that's perfectly fine, but if you are going to do that you also need to acknowledge that a 9-2 team might be better than an 11-0 team, or that 6-0 Ohio State might actually be one of the 4 best teams in the country.

I completely agree. The thing is if Clemson was 6-0 while other teams were 10-0 or 11-0 most of our fans who sat OSU doesnt belong would be arguing that we do. If Bama had a QB with the same stats as TL this year most would bash ESPN for even having him in the conversation of Hesiman or All American.

They should be called the AA Stat Teams...

Then Clemson fans would have little expectations of representation...at least on offense. Lipstick on a Pig awards...nothing more.

We benefit from publicity. Everyone knows ESPiN is in the tank for the SEC, OSU, ND and half a dozen other bluebloods. Besides that, we get to embarrass ESPiN every bowl season and have so for the last decade. People see this and know what time it is.
