Is that really appropriate considering the mascot and what the spur does? I dont think UVa would say run em through with a sword. Its a stupid mascot and a weak buzz phrase

Made me laugh, but off the field he is actually a good guy. I know that from something he did without any desire to seek credit to show compassion to some of my wife's family who went through a pretty horrific tragedy. Speaking of another foul mouthed dude--Coach K is X rated--heard it with my own ears, but is also on balance a positive influence. He is Coach Knight with even more wins and minus the player shoving and chair throwing, but has definitely an affinity for the F word.

And coach "K" (if you mean Dukie) is the biggest cry baby in sports. Watch him closely during a timeout - heads right to the nearest official. Don't respect him and never have.
