Why shouldn’t we feel disrespected?

Oct 21, 2019, 9:17 AM

I’m not saying there is a conspiracy against our Tigers but there is definitely collusion at play. Most everyone with a microphone has said we’re not worthy. Just because you don’t take offense to that doesn’t mean it’s not true. It’s the same thing as “ just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean people aren’t out to get you!” There is blatant effort by many to set the stage for our exclusion in the playoffs. As much as you adamantly disbelieve that, there are some of us that are obviously not as sure as you. This is a weird time in CFB and the blood is in the water and that blood comes from all the stabs people are taking at Clemson. Just trying to explain why some of us that feel concerned,

Encountering disrespectful behavior from others can be unnerving and upsetting. If someone has been disrespectful to you, you may be left wondering how to respond - just win baby, just win!

The college football media thirsts for story lines to keep things interesting as the playoff polls draw near.

They continue to have this thirst all the way through the final selection.

They want people to talk and buy something that they are selling.

Right now, no matter how true, the easiest thing to sell is that Clemson could either lose or be left out of the playoff as an undefeated team.

There is no drama to sell with Oklahoma or Ohio State at the moment because they are waiting for a few decent match-ups to try to create interest with those teams in "big" games.

They want OSU to seem unbeatable so they can sell the OSU vs Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan games.

It's the same reason they keep trying to prop up OSU's opponents and over-rank them.

There is nobody to prop up to pretend we play a tough game, so their best narrative to keep people interested in us is to see if we beat the eye test every week to stay in the playoffs.

They tried their hardest to start talking this past weekend about how tough to scar game looks for us know, but then with another loss it's harder to convince viewers that game will look tough too.
