1. Alabama 13-0(Will finish undefeated)
2. Clemson 13-0(Will finish undefeated)
3. Michigan 12-1(I know head to head but this is where that conference championship comes into play and that loss was early)
4. Notre Dame 12-0 (will be undefeated but no conference championship)

I agree with your assessment. I think Michigan will jump ND after they win their conference championship. People can whine and moan about head-to-head results and all that, but the same argument can be made for MI winning one more game and winning their Conference Championship. Plus, the ND-MI game was a long time ago so you have to judge teams by what they have done lately.

That’s what the committee did in 2015/16, having Mich St jump Oklahoma in the final poll. But really that was so they could give Bama the easier game and we got bruised by OU. It worked.
This year they will want Mich to jump ND so Bama has the easier game against ND.

Do not see committee overruling head-to-head matchup no matter when game was played. Don't see this changing heading into playoffs though Kirby is only SEC coach who can scout Saban.

They won’t put Michigan over ND in that scenario due to the head to head. Just won’t happen. Doesn’t matter because we’d beat either team by two touchdowns with our B game and by four touchdowns with our A game,

Unless Ohio St. somehow blows Michigan out and the B10 title game is no what is expected then I see Bama, Clemson, Michigan and ND.
Nobody else I can see really pose a threat to those top four.

Here is a related question. What happens if Ohio St. beats Michigan and Georgia upsets Bama? Personally I am pulling for Bama to lose twice, but don’t see it. Who would then get in besides UGA?
