Who was your favorite?

I was thinking about it and figured I would see what everyone else said. Of all the players on the current Clemson team who was the one that you were most excited about when they committed? I know who a lot of people are going to say but I'm going to say something different. Mine was Mackensie Alexander. I looked at the film of him from high school before he committed and I remember thinking "This guy is really dayum good!"

So who's the one guy that gave you a woody?

a RS'ed freshman. #95 Gage Cervenka. Needless to say it is beyond surreal for this lifelong Tiger. Best year ever for me including the Ford era.

Other than the obvious...I remember thinking Leggett was going to be a star. He finally is thriving in the offense. I was excited to see Cain and now he is making his statement filling in for MW.

Deshaun Watson. Just for what I saw out of him in high school. I could just see something special in that kid. I watched all of his film and just said, "If this kid brings half of what he brought in high school to Clemson he will be special!" And boy was I right.

I saw so much of the Florida boys near here in high school, Israel, Cain, Scott and Ray , that I couldn't wait to see them perform for us on a national stage. But DWat was the guy!!

Other than DW, mine was Artavis Scott. His high school film just impressed the shell out of me. I knew he would make a huge impact. My buddies and I like to make picks on which incoming freshman will have the biggest instant impact.... I picked artavis last year. ??
