If going out and getting who they want was that easy they wouldn’t have hired Mudshrimp in the first place. He was like their 5th choice.

I think they wanted to get rid of him after last season but his buyout was too large. I believe he will get another year after this year for the same reason. They will blame it on the virus but everyone had to deal with it.

The coots had a half dozen candidates when they hired Muschamp, but he offered something none of the others did. He was the only one who wanted the job.
I hope his big buyout keeps him there.
