They do have a lot of talent but little depth. That is problem with Pastner. They should be winning more. They lost their first two games to Mercer and Georgia State because he didn’t practice the players together in the preseason because of COVID. totally inexcusable if I was a Tech fan.

I agree. There first 5 have so much more natural BB ability than we have.

If you go back to the preseason ranking based on returning talent - I believe you would find out the Tigers are by far exceeding expectations

To be honest, they are very talented - specially at the guard position. Their center is also tough to handle.

They should do well with mostly a senior group what is he going to do next year probably transfers

As I watched the game last night, I commented

that they remind me of some prior Brownell teams:

-play really hard
-not much depth
-overachieve relative to their talent/other team’s talent (although they certainly have some nice pieces)

Those qualities are still somewhat true for us, but thankfully we’ve seen our talent and depth improve recently.

I like Pastner, he did well at Memphis and I think he’s a good coach. But Brad is better.

GT is playing some decent ball. Athletic and have an inside game along with some strong guard play.

Not a big fan of Pastner, always seems a bit shady.
While not a big BB fan, the one thing he is not is shady.

Seems shady? Ummm yea. He left Memphis because he was/ still is in all kinds of legal trouble from spousal abuse. Georgia Tech is operating in the red that’s why they hired him. They were desperate. He’s a worm
