The ending of that Georgia game yesterday sickens me. That

Nov 17, 2013, 9:32 AM

is all.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Just think how you'd feel if you were a UGA fan. All that

Nov 17, 2013, 9:33 AM

DB had to do (either of them) was knock the ball down but no, he wanted an interception on his stats.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's right. They were told to bat the ball down, I'm sure

Nov 17, 2013, 9:46 AM

On a play like that, in that situation, the standard is to knock the ball down.

Both of those DB's were freshmen, I think. And they were hunting glory. They didn't listen to their coaches. And now they'll have to live with that game for he rest of their lives.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Everyone says that like it's so easy.***

He was in a position to which it would have been easy

Nov 17, 2013, 10:50 AM

the ball hit him in the chest and bounced into the Auburn WR's hands.

Its much easier to just swat at the ball than to catch it

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yep. And that was the DC's fault. Before that snap, you have

Nov 17, 2013, 11:50 AM [ in reply to Just think how you'd feel if you were a UGA fan. All that ]

to be telling them, KNOCK IT DOWN!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

me too......

Nov 17, 2013, 9:35 AM

unbelievable that Auburn wins that game. Georgia deserved it, Murray earned it.

Malzhan is another arrogant prick in the vein of the Old Ball Sack, Steve Slurrier.

Yep, loved his interview calling this a "special team or season" or whatever, what a crock of ###...

Blame Georgia coaches for not brining those kids over to

Nov 17, 2013, 9:42 AM

the sideline and explain to them that we just need to knock ball down in this situation, get ball back and take a knee.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That was sooooo Gene Chizik....***

Much as I pause when I type, it makes me feel a little sick

Nov 17, 2013, 9:50 AM

too. For whatever reason, I am in the Aaron Murray camp when they play another SEC team. The kid is an example of all that makes college football so much more watchable than pro for me. He plays all out, cojones to the wall, heart on his sleeve ball.

To finish with 33/49 passing and to put 21 points on the board in the last quarter proves the kid and his team never quit. Announcers are always talking about leadership. That is a prime example to me.

But let's be honest, that play was not about skill at all. It was a freak event. A fluke. Luck was just not on the side of the Dawgs no matter how hard they fought.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Who cares? It hurts our SOS a little, but watching UGA's

Nov 17, 2013, 9:52 AM

Heart get ripped out is awesome. All we need to do is take care of business and quit worrying about everybody else.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

just don't understand the hatred for GA

Nov 17, 2013, 9:54 AM

would love to have them on the schedule every year...

they are heads above any Coot fan I have ever met...

and PS- I love Athens....

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I was cheering for them

Nov 17, 2013, 9:56 AM

but i wasn't sure why :)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

THe odd thing is the AU player did not even make a play

Nov 17, 2013, 10:00 AM

for the ball....He was just a lucky bystander......

badge-donor-20yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Orange Googlers Unite

Save Tigernet--Boot the coots(you know who I mean).

What was also odd

Nov 17, 2013, 10:03 AM

The UGA player that tipped the ball barely changed its rotation and it still had a straight spiral

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

While $CU fans are deluded, mouthy and ignorant...

Nov 17, 2013, 10:01 AM [ in reply to just don't understand the hatred for GA ]

they are essentially harmless.

UGa fans, on the other hand, are some of the most vile and repugnant fans I have ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I promise you they don't have the same feelings for us. Mark

Nov 17, 2013, 10:01 AM [ in reply to just don't understand the hatred for GA ]

Schlabach is a prime example of their fan base and I bet 9 out 10 of their fans didn't even pull for us last Thursday. Pollack is the only exception.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'll probably get flack over this, but I see UGA

Nov 17, 2013, 10:15 AM [ in reply to just don't understand the hatred for GA ]

as a much better team from a talent potential than SCar. And I also see Richt as being ten levels above Spurrier in class and my ability to 'tolerate' him.

Beating UGA but watching them do well otherwise gives me much more satisfaction than anything SCar could do. Richt and his teams get my respect whether we beat them or they beat us. I think a lot of fans think that way (not all). Few say that about Spurrier and his teams.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Do I really need to explain why I care? Do you or don't you

Nov 17, 2013, 10:08 AM [ in reply to Who cares? It hurts our SOS a little, but watching UGA's ]

hate the Gamecocks? That's why I care.

Nov 17, 2013, 10:09 AM

That's a little dramatic. Ha. They are freshmen. They will make good plays in their career. Prob won't dwell on it the rest of their lives. Or shouldnt anyway.
