While I think it hurts us a little (mainly Cain), I'm proud

of Dabo and think he reinforced to everyone, including many in the media, that he does not run a win at all cost program.
Frankly, one thing that really bothers me and has for some time, is that you almost never hear anyone in the national sports media call out coaches who do run programs that way. I can think of one conference in particular and also one coach in the panhandle of Florida, but I won't name names. If more of the talking heads on the ESPN ripped coaches who ran programs this way, maybe we would see fewer win at all cost run football programs and those teams' fans sickeningly fall in lock step, justifying and rationalizing it all the way.
Dabo's hands are tied. They were going home regardless.

Now we just have to wait and see if it was an NCAA administered drug test (likely) or a Clemson administered drug test. If it's NCAA it's bad news for Cain as he will be out for 4 more games next season. It will be just like Darren Carrington at Oregons situation last year. Regardless there's no way we see Deon Cain back on the field this season. He's looking at a 3-6 game suspension.
