Where things stand...

Oct 31, 2020, 1:14 PM

Our run game is consistently thrown off by Case Stewart’s high snaps.

Our offensive line is poor this year, and every if we come back and win today, there is no way we will go through the remainder of our schedule undefeated because of their soft play. Stewart is not even a D1 caliber OL, and the others get very little push.

Why being DJ under center on that 3rd down play? His handoff to Travis, while a routine play, was atrocious and I wonder if taking the snap from center gave him too much to think about. Why do something different there?

Win or lose today - And we may very well come back if Elliott will vary the running game and the defense will wake up - I hope this is a wake up call. We need better OL play and maybe a new voice there. We need to really question whether some of the guys getting snaps along both lines can really play, and some of the LB’s too.
