What’s the impact of NOT changing the name?

Jun 9, 2020, 11:03 AM

From now on, will the media talk about how racist Clemson is before every one of Nuk’s games when he refuses to say Clemson?

This will be the long term impact of refusing to right the egregious wrongs of the racist past and accept change... Clemson need bluechip Athletes waaaaaaay more than they need Clemson....

There is way more upside to change the name than not changing. The name is meaningless for most white people anyway.

John C. Calhoun is considered one of the three great senators with Clay and Webster.

He will still be in books and film. It's just a name of a building.

Because it won’t stop with just changing the name!

The center piece of the entire campus is the antebellum home built by John C. Calhoun. It is one of the things that makes Clemson so unique.

What do you think the name-changers will eventually want to do about this obvious “symbol of racism” right in the middle of campus?

You know where this all leads.

Stop it now.

They can just keep that name of that house, considering it was his house. Its an historic house. Then again, next thing we know the extremists will be demanding we bulldoze it. I can see changing a name of just some campus academic building though. . Why should any of us white people care? We changed them before and survived.

What make the house historic?

Jun 9, 2020, 11:34 AM

I don’t give a rip about what they call the honors college. It means nothing to me in and of itself.

I just know for sure that things will not stop if the name of the honors college is changed.

The “history” behind the Calhoun home will be called into question.

It will happen.

The BLM “Organization” and media Carnival Race Barkers (Bomani Jones, Paul Fineturd, etc.) will always demand something else. You cannot appease Marxists!!!!

"I love this place, I've got a spot already picked out where I want 'em to put me when I die - up there on that ole hill near the stadium. I want to be there so I can hear all them people cheering my Tigers on Saturdays; then I won't have to go Heaven; I'll already be there."- Frank Howard
