Clemson lost to the real USC 30-0 in 1966 and I don't think the juice was on that team. The team did get to visit Disneyland on the trip but Coach Howard talked mostly about the heat and how it got to his team.. I think we also got shutout by Bama earlier that year. Not a good time for a tiger football

Did O.J. murder us that day?

Jan 2, 2017, 8:43 PM

Yep, CU played USC out there. The actor Bob Cummings had the team over for a party. His wife was from South Carolina and a Clemson fan.

You go far enough west, you'll eventually go east

Pacific Tigers

Jan 2, 2017, 7:16 PM

CU played them in the early 50s out there. Think that is the farthest west. Don't think they field a program anymore though.

Played USC in California. Had a big party at actor Bob Cummings house. His wife was from South Carolina. Got beat very bad.
