What is KB's celebration supposed to represent?

Sep 17, 2017, 8:03 PM

Maybe I'm old and out of touch but what does KB mean when he points to his arm? Is it a reference to his arm strength. Noticed a few other college quarterbacks do it on highlights.

Yup. Shooting ice water into the veins.

But it makes me think of drug use, so I don't really care for it. I did like DW's bow and arrow.

DW4 did the ice water thing too.***

That it gave him chills?
That winter is coming?

All guesses...

Good for him...

It takes a lot of guts to shine a light on the opioid epidemic like he did. That was a heroin smack gesture, right? Brave young man.

Preseason he was labeled as a qb that gets it done with his legs. His reputation was he was a better runner than passer. Him pointing to his arm after he throws a touchdown is him saying I can do it with my arm too. That simple.

You know we see so much demonstration by players, including our own, designed to call attention to themselves. It does not really offend me, but I'm enough of an old fogy that that stuff is not really necessary. All plays are theoretically designed to end in touchdowns, and if you get a touchdown that is only what was supposed to happen, you did your job.

I'm not criticizing KB or Deshaun for his archer thing, but I appreciated Ettiene's touchdown where he simply crossed himself.
