James Madison also had one and App St. had 2. Did Frank Beamer pull a Bobby Bowden Jimbo Fisher on Tech? Shame. They used to be somebody.
Sidebar - I have 2 nephews who were star hs qb’s. Same age. One was a preferred walkon at App St. The other was preferred walkon at James Madison.

that Fuente is an absolute horses @$$ and the kids don't like playing for him (a lot of dismissals and transfers) which may also explain why VT only signed seventeen in the class of 2020 which ranked 62nd nationally.

97 or so in the previous 4 classes. I think they have a small class of seniors this year as well?
Fuente might still be the ahole you mention; I know Dabo likes him.

So, not sure saying Dabo likes somebody is the best gauge of their personality.
But I will say there may be a caveat to the rule in that Muschamp might be an exception. I think that whole "your wife is flirting with me" scene might have put Muschamp outside the "Dabo likes you" group.

You're right though, Dabo does seem to see the good in people; he's also lashed out at those to which he's taken exception. Especially those he thinks are taking swipes at the program/players.

VPI is a historically average program

Michael Vick was the only reason they became a quasi elite program and they rode that wave for about a decade. They are where they belong at the moment which is on par with a program like NC State.

VT was a really young team last year. They return like 19-20 of their 22 O/D starters. They rank 6th in returning production. They and UNC should be the favorites to win the coastal.
