Went to the game today...

Sep 28, 2019, 11:28 PM

And I can say a few things:
1) it was hot, good lord that stadium is like the hell hole that is columbia
2) we didn’t play our best game. Obvious. Our line didn’t match up with theirs and that is surprising.
3) we are not the number 1 team RIGHT NOW
4) UNCs bathroom/concession lines are atrocious
5) we are not Alabama. They would not have played unc close. If everything is clicking we have shown to be that good but they just do not have games like this against unc
6) last point is irrelevant if we blow their doors off again
7) we won. Chill. Beat a chippy team in a sauna when it was hard for anyone to get into the game. It was not loud it was not intimidating it was hot, quiet, and felt like we were just trying to get out of there

What drove the incessant false start penalties?

Sep 28, 2019, 11:39 PM

Was it loud? Were they imitating the snap count? It was over and over....

Imitating the snap count is a penalty.

That doesn't mean it didn't happen

It was uncharacteristic of our line

Not loud in the least. Snap count issues were self inflicted. Anyone saying jr was loud us trying to find an excuse

Yeah I remember last year when we weren’t as good as Alabama

until we played them.

Exactly why I said that. But they don’t screw around with lesser opponents the way we do. Not an observation but a fact

Got it. Just not sure why that matters.***

I was near the student section endzone and it got loud a handful of times. Not Clemson loud, but loud enough to cause a distraction especially in that heat. That new artificial turf had to have made it well over a 100 today on the field.

I was behind the student section. In the SE corner. Moved up a few rows then got kicked out finding I was in Hubert Davis’s seats (UNC assistant basketball coach). It was not loud. About as loud as our spring game
