What a way to finish it!

Jan 10, 2019, 1:02 PM

Sorry in advance if Germans, but I haven't had time to read the whole board.

But did you guys realize that the longest drive in the HISTORY OF CLEMSON FOOTBALL (measured by clock time consumed) was the final possession Monday night, driving from our half-yard line to the Bama 5 yard line to consume the final 10:02?

Pretty amazing.

I thought it was probably the longest of the season but hadn't had time to look it up. The longest of all time for Clemson? Wow! I don't know why more people in the media aren't talking about that drive.

And, Dabo chose not to score. Classy, and I'm okay with it. Well? Chuckle.

And could have put seven more on the board if we wanted to.

Maybe more then 7 had Dabo kept the first teamers in for 60 minutes. But, as he always wisely does, Coach gets as many folks in a game as possible. Smart and classy!

I knew it was 10 minutes, but didn't know it was a record.

Jan 10, 2019, 2:07 PM

And what was really surprising to me was that it was so long (in time) considering that most of our drives this year have been so quick since our QB and WRs are so great.

It would be neat to see if our average scoring time this year was a record. I don't see how it couldn't be.

We had to try and even up the time of possession, because,

that's, you know, important. :)

Before that drive...

Jan 10, 2019, 4:05 PM

BAMA had 31:30 to 18:30 time of possession for Clemson.
