LeBron doesn't want to shoot the ball

Jun 16, 2015, 10:08 PM

For some reason. He is being really passive tonight. Cavs passing the ball around like a hot potato and running out the clock or committing a TO.

Warriors walk away in 3rd&4th if Cavs don't clean it up and James gets more aggressive.

He's being well-defended.

He's tried to run through Igoudala a few times...not working. He has no teammates to draw attention of defenders off him. No spacing, no nothing. His option when taking the ball is to try to dribble around or through the three defensive players who are tracking him.

I can agree, but he has had good looks though. Especially when they were down by 4 and ended up TO the ball.

Cavs only have 6-7 guys. That's one of the problems too.

Missed layups are the result of tired legs, usually.

Jun 16, 2015, 10:14 PM

Lebron looks gassed.

Frustrated too. He is yelling at Thompson when really he should have adjusted and helped. He has done that a couple of times now.

Yes, body language is not good.

Jun 16, 2015, 10:18 PM

One thing no one is talking about is that Golden State is giving Cleveland no fast break opportunites...no "live ball" turnovers. When's the last time LeBron dunked? I don't remember the last one. Those breaks inject energy.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The Cavs won't win if Lebron has to do it all.

Jun 16, 2015, 10:11 PM

Have to win as a team. The Cavs are not a team.

It's a shame we didn't get to see Cleveland's team.

Jun 16, 2015, 10:26 PM

Would have been fun (not that that this series hasn't been riveting in its own right).

That double double that Irving would have probably put up could have helped, but who knows man. With the way he plays, he could have gone 25% from field. Never know.

Well, thanks, ABC and NBA for the first half.

Jun 16, 2015, 10:29 PM

Thanks to the 9:10 tip, those of us with jobs will be looking up the score in the morning.

he may be holding a little for the 2nd half

Jun 16, 2015, 10:35 PM

they will need him most in the 4th
if they are still in it

Re: he may be holding a little for the 2nd half

Jun 16, 2015, 10:39 PM

Definitely still in it. I would expect Warriors to come out small and try to push the ball as hard as possible and wear the Cavs down.
