Well, all those worried about The Shambo bringing Augusta

Nov 12, 2020, 11:52 AM

National to its knees can rest easy for a little while. He is about to be at least two over par thru his first 4 holes, and has that deer in the headlight look about him right now. Had to start on 10, which seemed to throw him off kilter, especially after he missed a 3 footer for birdie on that hole. It was, as they say, all downhill from there. But, this guy won the US Open, which they don't give away. He may yet right the ship in this round.

Hard as it may be to believe, I think he is clean. The PGA

Tour has some pretty stringent drug testing. You can bet he has already been tested, and passed, several.

Yes, but just until a few short years ago, they were not testing for Recreational Drugs like Cocaine. Hence, Dustin “Booger Sugar” Johnson.

He brought it home at two under par. I have to give him

credit. With some of the places he hit his ball yesterday, it is a minor miracle to come back and get it under par. He was two bad bounces from being OB, or lost on at least two holes. And if his caddie had not been able to find his ball in the bushes behind 13, he could easily have made a 10 on that hole, since his provisional was in the creek.

Sitting at 3 over, he must find at least 3 strokes Saturday morning with 6 holes to play to finish the 2nd round. Looking more like Augusta is bringing him to his knees.
