We are the Patriots

Football seasons are about building to greatness instead of being great early and then flaming out. We have never been better in September than we are in December and this is exactly how the patriots season progresses. They work things out early in the season but as November and December approach you start to play your best ball.

Check back over the last few years it has always happened this way.

The 2011 season, I believe, is what started to change Dabo's approach. It was then changed for good after 2015.

After adjusting to the new offense in the first couple of games in 2011, we started playing our best football in game 3.

Then after making it to 8-0 we started to fall off drastically and dropped a few games late in the year.

Again in 2015 we got caught up trying to make sure we stayed undefeated and we had some guys really struggling near the end of the season.

Now Dabo makes sure we don't get caught without functional depth late in the season.

We just have to make sure we can get there while we are working through the growing pains for the new players each year.

You must be a Patriots fan because the NFL loves the Patriots. College Football doesn't feel the same way about Clemson.
