in choreographic interpretation....the whole excessive celebration rule needs to be reexamined...puts far too much discretion in the hands of the refs and turns the outcome of many a game .... the rule as it stands has a good intention in theory but it stinks in application ...

during bowl games, saw three salutes and three or four pointing down field including Ohio St. what a bunch of liberal numwits.

So...excess celebration leads to making the other team "feel" dis-respected which in turn will lead them to fighting or violent behavior. How about we let the kids celebrate and if it leads to retaliation or fighting we penalize that?? Excess celebration...what a crock.

I remember when the original excessive celebration rule was instituted and Tony Horne was penalized for raising the ball over his head in the endzone not even looking at the crowd or another player. They either took the touchdown away or Florida State scored on the short field after the kick off and we lost.
